What is jewellery karigar software?
Jewellery karigar software runs the accounts between a jeweller and their artisans. Metal goes out by weight and tunch, comes back as finished pieces, and everything in between — ghat, labour, running balances — is reconciled in fine grams. The karigar register (kata book) records what happened; karigar software checks it: wastage against agreed limits, labour at agreed rates, and a statement both sides can verify.
It's built on the same job-card engine as jewelry manufacturing software, posts to the same books as billing, and feeds finished stock straight into inventory.

Order to karigar
A customer order or stock order becomes a job card — design, weight range, purity, stones, promised date — assigned to a karigar with their agreed labour rate and ghat limit.
Metal issued by weight & tunch
Gold, silver or alloy issued by gross weight and tunch (purity) — the fine-metal content is computed and debited to the karigar's metal account the moment it leaves the vault.
Receive & reconcile
Finished pieces come back weighed and tested. The system reconciles metal out vs metal in: fine weight returned, ghat consumed against the agreed limit, and any excess flagged immediately.
Labour & settlement
Labour is billed per gram or per piece at the karigar's rate, netted against the metal balance, and settled in cash or metal — with a running ledger and statement both sides can trust.

What is jewellery karigar software?
Jewellery karigar software manages the accounts between a jeweller and their artisans (karigars): metal issued by weight and tunch, job cards per order, ghat (wastage) tracked against agreed limits, labour billing at each karigar's rate, and a running ledger settled in metal or cash. It replaces the karigar register/kata book with a system where every gram is reconciled automatically.
How does it track ghat (wastage)?
Each karigar and work type carries an agreed ghat limit. When a job card is received, the system compares fine metal issued against fine metal returned plus recorded wastage — anything beyond the limit is flagged on that job card immediately, with the full history per karigar available for review.
What is tunch and how is it handled?
Tunch is the purity of the metal (e.g. 91.6 for 22K, 999 for fine gold). ZSolTech records tunch on every issue and return and converts everything to fine weight, so a karigar's balance is always in comparable fine grams — even when jobs mix karats.
Can karigars be paid in metal or cash?
Both. Labour computed on receipt nets against the karigar's metal account, and settlements can be made in cash, in metal, or a mix — each posted to the ledger with a statement the karigar can verify. Rate-cut (bhav-cut) conversions between metal and cash are supported at the agreed rate.
Does it work for outside job-work as well as in-house karigars?
Yes. The same job-card and metal-account engine covers in-house benches, outside karigars and third-party job-work units — each with their own rates, ghat limits and ledgers, and a WIP view showing exactly which metal sits where.
